An opportunity has arisen to join the site security team at West Bromwich.  Our flag ship site has undergone significant investment to create a site for everyone to be proud of and our security team play a big part of maintaining the high standards we have set.  Our Security Officers are often the first Allied Bakeries contact that our customers and visitors come into contact with, so it is essential to set the right tone.  You will need to demonstrate your ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and with an engaging approachable style as well as have experience of managing multiple tasks, organising your own time and workload and taking responsibility for taking decisions quickly and effectively.

Working a 4 on 4 off rotating day and night shift pattern, including weekend, our security officers are the first face of the business for many customers, visitors, contractors and employees.  We are looking for a friendly, professional, diligent and versatile security officer the complete the team at West Bromwich.
Essentially the role involves maintaining the security and safety of the West Bromwich site, coordinating visitors and incoming correspondence (phone, post, couriers etc), managing emergency situations as they arise, support the site in protecting the bakery by ensuring hygiene, housekeeping and safety standards and procedures are met at all times.  You will need to be self aware and aware of others as well as being comfortable to communicate both verbally, in person and by phone and also in writing whether by email, letter, or shift handover log books.
