An opportunity to join a small team as Vehicle Maintenance Contract Manager.
We have a great opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team as the Contract Manager.
The role involves managing the contract delivering repair and maintenance of our fleet of LGV’s, MHE and associated plant to the required standards.
You will need good interpersonal skills to enable you to effectively communicate with the service provider, internal customers such as the transport team, as well as other external supporting services. In addition, there will be a requirement to effectively engage with the central business functions in support of the wider delivery of this service to other business units throughout the UK and Northern Ireland.
We need you to support the National Fleet Engineer with strategic planning and you will also be working on national and local projects so experience of project management is highly desirable.
To be successful in this role we anticipate that you will likely be a time served vehicle technician so that you have the technical skills required to drive quality and value through the service.
You will also have sound IT skills in both Microsoft office as well as experience in fleet and fuel management systems.
