Speedibake has bakery sites in Wakefield and Bradford specialising in own-label baked goods, we supply to a customer base across all channels; foodservice wholesalers, contract catering, end users, export and retail.

We currently have a vacancy for a Customer Service Administrator at our Wakefield site within the Supply Chain department . .

Reporting to the Order Fulfilment Manager you will deal with over 80 customers including all of the major supermarkets and interact with all our hauliers at our Wakefield and Bradford warehouses as well as our off site storage provider. You will be responsible for developing relationships with customer contacts whilst identifying improvements to existing procedures and processes.

A key element of the role is to provide support to the Operations and Commercial teams through the provision of sales information and to liaise with hauliers and depots to ensure availability of stock to fulfil orders inputted onto the stock control system.

To be successful, you will:

  • Proven experience of dealing with customers and hauliers

  • You should have good Microsoft Excel skills; previous knowledge of Formul8 would be an advantage.

  • Have good numeracy skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Be highly motivated – enthusiastic, positive and a good team participant.

  • Able to demonstrate good judgement, capability to make decisions and willingness to take responsibility
