Your primary objective is to ensure all bread manufacturing plants are kept supplied with ingredients that are prepared in accordance with the Allied Bakeries Site Standards (ABSS). This will include management of the mini bulk ingredients area.
•Sieve and weigh dry raw materials as required by Allied Bakeries Site Standards (ABSS) and record in accordance with the company Recipe Formulation System (RFS), ensuring strict Allergen Controls in stores
•Conduct quality checks as required including sieve mesh and seal integrity checks in accordance with ABSS; this is a Critical Control Point.
•Follow the RFS to ensure correct ingredients are used through positive release ensuring first expiry first out (FEFO)
•Basic IT skills required to maintain records
•Record all movement of ingredients through the RFS and associated manual documents to ensure we are compliant for traceability purposes as per legal and customer requirement; ensure accurate completion of documentation
•Receive goods inwards either manually or with mechanical assistance and maintain records for traceability and food safety purposes in accordance with ABSS. Ensure prompt booking in of all materials.
•To work in a responsible manner ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others ensuring high standard of GMP and CYAG in the stores and prep room area
•Movement of stock may require a fork lift truck licence; training will be provided where and when necessary
•Strict adherence to work wear dress codes
The position is based on an average of 42 hours per week and offers a company pension scheme and discounted company products.
