An exciting opportunity has arisen at our bakery in Stevenage to join our Hygiene Team as a Hygiene Operative. The successful candidate will drive for achieving the best hygiene and food safety results.

As a key member of the Hygiene team, Bowl Wash Cleaning Operative will be responsible for cleaning the ingredients bowls, dough tubs, cleaning equipment and any equipment that comes into the bowl wash are such as machine parts. Ensure all cleaning that requires to be logged on the cleaning sheet is documented at all times for effective traceability. Cleaning SOP should be followed at all times. Wet area and dry area of the bowl wash should be kept clean at all times. All drains must be clean. Dough tubs that have been taken outside for tipping must be brought back for cleaning immediately. Colour segregation must be adhered to at all times whilst working in the bowl wash area. Food contact equipment must be separated from non-food contact equipment in both the wet and the dry area.


Standard of Performance
•Sign  off  all  hygiene cleaning  log  documentation  in  the  bowl  wash  area
•One to one communication to give regular shift updates
•One to one conversations for improvement and development
•Reporting of any damage d equipment  and  cleaning t equipment
•Correct PPE must be worn at all times
•Report and pest infestations in the bowl wash area
