Speedibake has bakery sites in Wakefield and Bradford specialising in own-label baked goods, we supply to a customer base across all channels; foodservice wholesalers, contract catering, end users, export and retail.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Operations Finance Analyst to join the team at Speedibake Wakefield

Reporting to Supply Chain Finance Manager the successful candidates will business partner the Wakefield General Manager and Operations Team by delivering high quality insight and analysis into performance. And supporting the Supply Chain Finance Manager to influence positive business change in Operational departments of the business; with a focus on efficiency and driving costs out of the business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Business partner the Wakefield General Manager and Operations team

  • Deliver high quality insight and analysis into operational and supply chain performance

  • Support the Supply Chain Finance Manager to influence positive business change in Operational departments with a focus on efficiency and lower cost of production

  • Forecasting, controlling and reporting on £75m of operational overheads and £7m stock

  • Focus on variances including material usage, labour efficiency and rate and overheads

  • Share best practice across both Speedibake sites and collaborate with Bradford analyst

Skills / Experience:

Essential                                                                                                                Desirable

 

Previous experience in a finance role                             Working flexibility around period-end

Qualified or pass finalist (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)              Ability to produce Macros

Excellent communication skills                               Experience in a manufacturing environment

 

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)                      Driving License & own transport 

Ability to work to tight deadlines                                   

Attention to detail with strong analytical skills

Self-motivated, pro-active, tenacious

 

Team player, enthusiastic, desire to learn new skills,
