As part of our site tactical plan and ambitions to create a Winning Team, we are delighted to announce that we have a brand new opportunity for an Engineering Apprentice with a focus on electrical engineering and controls. This is a great chance to pursue a career in engineering in the fast moving food manufacturing industry.
This is a full four years’ Modern Apprenticeship programme which will provide both general engineering skills and specialist controls engineering and will encompass formal learning in both classroom and workshop situations, as well as development of practical skills in the workplace. The programme consists of:

SVQ level 3 in Electrical and Controls Engineering
A formal qualification in an Engineering or computer programming discipline.
Full training will be given both onsite and at our training provider (EKGTA) in East Kilbride. On successful completion of the programme, candidates would receive the appropriate certification and become a fully qualified controls engineer.
