Speedibake has bakery sites in Wakefield and Bradford specialising in own-label baked goods, we supply to a customer base across all channels; foodservice wholesalers, contract catering, end users, export and retail.

Reporting to the hygiene chargehand, you’ll be a key member of the hygiene team and your focus will be to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained throughout our Wakefield bakery.

This role is shift based working any 4 from 7 (Monday – Sunday). You are required to work on average 43 hours per week

Key Accountabilities:

  • To achieve required work-rate in order to maintain and improve performance and ensure that work is completed to the schedules set.

  • To ensure that all hygiene schedules are completed correctly with work completed

  • To remove and dispose of all waste / debris in the bakery.

  • Cleaning & sanitation of all production equipment

  • To ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained for all bakery areas.

  • Active role in ensuring all cleaning tasks are performed to the required standard and recorded.

Skills / Experience:

  • Previous experience of working within a FMCG hygiene environment (desirable but not essential).

  • Team player.

  • Flexible approach.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated

  • An eye for detail and the ability to follow process are key in this role
