Speedibake has bakery sites in Wakefield and Bradford specialising in own-label baked goods, we supply to a customer base across all channels; foodservice wholesalers, contract catering, end users, export and retail.

Reporting directly to the Hygiene Supervisor. The role holder will be responsible for:

  • Supervising, monitoring and improving standards .
  • Ensuring that high standards of bakery hygiene are maintained
  • Organising the team to achieve the weekly and daily targets to ensure schedule compliance, maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the bakery
  • To support the development of a pro-active Health and Safety environment. To support the development of an environment for continuous improvement for tasks, performance and people.

Safety Awareness

Lead by example; support the development of a pro-active H&S environment. Ensure compliance to site H&S systems and procedures. Lead the team to actively improve behaviors and drive a safer working environment. Implement and support Safety 1st initiatives. Being aware of conditions that affect employee safety.
